Paul Moak Subaru Road Trip Checklist
Your bags are packed and your gear is loaded. The kids and dog can barely contain their excitement, but is your Subaru ready for the road? Here are a few tips Jackson MS Subaru Owners should know before you loading up their Subaru and head out for any summer adventure, it's a good idea to set up a service visit. We'll make a careful pre-trip inspection of your vehicle to help ensure a trouble-free journey.
Some of the maintenance items that should be examined include:
Fluids-Antifreeze/coolant, transmission, engine oil, brake fluid, washer fluid, power steering fluid and gasoline are all fluids that should be topped off or replaced if necessary. If the time/mileage is right for a service we will recommend and follow the recommended scheduled maintenance outlined for your vehicle.
Air Filter- The air filter helps protect the engine by straining impurities. Change your air filter at recommended intervals for better fuel economy and performance.
Brakes- Your brakes require regular maintenance to maintain performance. See your Warranty & Maintenance Booklet for recommended intervals- or stop in right away if they don't feel right.
Battery- The last thing anyone needs is battery trouble! Let us hook it up to our battery-diagnostic system to learn its condition.
Tires- Tires should be properly inflated, balanced and in alignment.
Visibility- The ability to see and been seen on the road is critical to your safety. Make sure headlights, windshields, window glass, signal lights, mirrors, and wiper blades are in good shape.
