What's New for 2021?
The new Subaru Crosstrek gets freshened up in a few areas for 2021. For starters, there's a new Sport trim, which gets some unique features like selectable drive modes and a new, more powerful 2.5-liter engine that can also now be found in the Limited trim. Across the model lineup, the exterior gets new front grille and bumper designs.
Performance
The new Subaru Crosstrek comes equipped with a 182-horsepower Subaru Boxer 2.5 liter engine. The standard Symmetrical All-Wheel drive makes the vehicle more stable, offering a more responsive SUV even in challenging driving conditions. Fuel efficiency is improved up to an EPA-estimated 34 MPG, achieving a driving range of up to 500 miles on a single tank of fuel.
Safety
Eyesight® is the new safety feature that is standard on the 2021 Crosstrek. This feature monitors the exterior of the vehicle, particularly in places where the driver may not be able to see. Eyesight® lets the driver know if they are drifting out of their lane, monitors traffic movement and cars passing on the sides of the vehicle, can center the vehicle in the lane, will even apply brakes for a full stop to avoid a collision. STARLINK® is also available to alert the authorities should the vehicle be involved in an accident.
Technology
Drivers may enjoy the comfort of a warm vehicle in the winter and a cool one in summer. Some models are equipped with Remote Engine Start with Climate Control and can be activated via cellphone.
Design
All-new for 2021, the Crosstrek Sport edition exhibits a sturdy grille with gunmetal gray highlights, including wheel arch moldings with unique dark gray wheels.
